Behind the Scenes Magic

You step into the theater, waiting for the magic to begin. You know the show’s synopsis, and you’re excited to see talented local actors and vocalists, some of whom might even be your friends and neighbors. That is the beauty of community theater.

If you have attended past productions by The Off Broadway Players, you also know the artistry that goes into the set design and staging. You’ve read about the long hours spent in rehearsal by actors, directors, and stage crews. But behind every smooth performance is a team of volunteers whose work makes it all possible.

One of those critical volunteers is Donna Bitar.
